As I said in
this previous blog post, I moved home after I graduated. Not only did I move home, but at Christmas my brother and I switched rooms, and my new room was a little smaller than my old room. However, I am a master at organizing things into a small space because I lived in college housing for four years, so this was a challenge I happily accepted. After four days of organizing I finally finished my room and got it exactly the way I wanted it, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

This is my room after everything had been moved in, and before everything had been put away. At this point I did not think everything would fit, that I would have to do some major downsizing, and make several Goodwill trips. At first it was hard to walk around my room. It felt like I was doing parkor to get to my bed! I knew I wanted this done quickly, and I knew my closet would be the biggest task! I also wanted to convert my old makeup table to be half desk and half makeup table.

I am happy to say that I was successful! I organized my closet and converted the table to half desk and half makeup table! I love every inch of my room, and am beyond happy that it is all done. Now I have a space for blogging, reading, cozy evenings in bed watching Netflix, and getting ready for dates. I will be doing more blog posts about more specific parts of my room like my desk, new home decor, and my closet!
